The “Secret Mission: CF²” was launched in 2025 to continue to inspire in 2026

A special educational journey that invites every child to discover the Hidden Abilities that are hidden within them.

Just before the end of 2025, a pioneering educational journey for knowledge, empathy and power was launched. The “Secret Mission: CF.²” took its first steps in schools and among educators across the country. The first pilot school activities and the first online teacher training seminars were successfully completed in December with great success and intense excitement.

The nationwide educational campaign is implemented by the Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association in collaboration with the author-illustrator Liana Noezaki and continues dynamically in 2026.

A different educational campaign

The “Secret Mission: CF²” is a comprehensive educational campaign for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students, combining the book “Secret Mission: CF²”, a free teacher’s manual, digital materials, training seminars and interactive presentations in schools.

Starting from an “invisible difficulty”, Cystic Fibrosis, the campaign harnesses the power of storytelling, imagination and experiential learning as an opportunity to foster empathy, acceptance, self-care and mental resilience.

The book also presents transplantation and organ donation in a simple and pedagogically appropriate way that children understand, not as medical acts, but as acts of giving, solidarity and a second chance at life. Concepts that are related to Cystic Fibrosis, but ultimately concern us all.

The central message of the campaign is that the “secret code” CF does not only mean Cystic Fibrosis, but Classified Faculties, the strengths that every child hides inside him or her to cope with the difficulties they may encounter in life.

Below is a video of the first official presentation of the campaign at the Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Conference 2025.

The first interactive presentations brought the Secret Mission to life in schools

In December 2025, the campaign made its first trip to a school environment, with interactive presentations at the 4th Primary School of Thebes (15/12/2025) and the 2nd Primary School of Agioi Anargyroi (22/12/2025).

The students of the two schools became the first “Secret Agents” of the mission, participating with great enthusiasm in an experience full of imagination, play, roles, music and positive life messages.

The school presentations were designed by the writer-illustrator Liana Noezaki and animated by the actor-animator Yannis Vourakis, in the role of the special envoy of the Headquarters agent. The children had a live online connection with Anna Spinou, President of the Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association, who conveyed “top secret” messages from the Mission’s Secret Headquarters.

A particular contribution to the success of the first actions was made by school principals and teachers, who embraced the initiative and contributed to the creation of a safe, creative and supportive environment for children.

High participation in teacher training seminars

Alongside the school presentations, the first two pilot online teacher training seminars were held free of charge, on 12 and 18 December 2025, with the participation of dozens of teachers from all over Greece.

The seminars presented Cystic Fibrosis, transplantation and organ donation, as well as the pedagogical philosophy and the way of implementing the “Secret Mission: CF ²” in the classroom, with an emphasis on experiential learning, empathy, active student participation and a safe approach to health issues and “invisible difficulties”.

The main speakers of the seminars were Dr. Zoe Kroko and the writer-illustrator Liana Noezaki, while Anna Spinou, President of the Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association & patient with C.I., and Konstantina Giannaki, Vice President of the Association & mother of a child with C.I., spoke about life with Cystic Fibrosis and the vision of the campaign.

The warm response and the strong interest of teachers confirmed the need for modern, pedagogically sound tools that enhance inclusion, acceptance and mental resilience in the school environment. The next series of seminars will be announced in 2026.

The people behind the campaign

The educational campaign “Secret Mission: C.I.²” is an initiative of the Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association and bears the creative signature of the author and illustrator Liana Noezaki, who with sensitivity, imagination and deep knowledge of the children’s world transformed a difficult reality into a bright and empowering narrative for children.

The campaign is the result of a collaboration between a multidisciplinary team of educators, health scientists, psychologists, psychologists, creatives, artists, patient volunteers and carers. The pedagogical supervision and documentation is provided by Dr. Zoe Krokou, Special Pedagogy, ensuring that the content meets the needs of the classroom and effectively enhances empathy, mental resilience and active participation of students.

The campaign is under the auspices of the Hellenic Paediatric Pulmonology Society, the Hellenic Transplantation Organisation (HTO) and the Hellenic Pulmonology Society and is implemented with the support of Platinum Sponsor Vertex Pharmaceuticals and supporters Hellenic American Union, Special Therapeutics and PrintServe.

Actions continue to be dynamic in 2026

From February 2026, the “Secret Mission” will continue its journey to Primary Schools all over Greece, with new presentations, teacher training seminars and many more activities, aiming to inspire every child to believe in their power and to claim what they deserve most: a life with Unlimited Breath.
