Places for the 42nd Authentic Athens Marathon are now open!
He participated in the 5km marathon race with the Cystic Fibrosis Racing Team, contributing to the struggle of our patients for “Breathless Breath”. The 5km race will take place in Athens on Saturday 8 November 2025.

Upon completion of registration, all runners of the Cystic Fibrosis Racing Team will receive a free cotton Cystic Fibrosis T-shirt to wear during the race.

What is Cystic Fibrosis?
It is the most common hereditary disease with over half a million carriers in Greece. The disease mainly affects the lungs and pancreas. It is usually diagnosed in infancy and has a low survival rate. More about the disease here.
