Our General Manager Maro Gounari represented the Ηellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association at the conference “Greek Solid Organ Transplantation Programs”, which took place today, Friday 17 March 2023 at the Great Britain Hotel.
On the occasion of the awarding by the Ministry of Health of the three Units of Solid Organ Transplantation, General Hospital Hippokratio, General Hospital Laiko and Onassis Heart Surgery Centre, the work of the Units was presented at the Workshop. At the same time, the issues concerning transplants were discussed in view of the Ministry of Health’s bill for the modernization of the law on organ donation and transplantation in our country. During the Workshop, the progress and challenges of the National Lung Transplantation Programme were also presented by the Head of the Lung Transplantation Programme, Mr. The course and progress of the National Lung Transplantation Program was presented by the Head of the Lung Transplantation Program, Mr. Hercules Tsagaris, with the Chairmanship of the Head of the Heart-Lung Transplantation & Mechanical Support of the Lung, Mr. Themistocles Hamogeorgakis and the Director of the Medical Service and Director of the Lung Anesthesia Department of the Lung Transplantation Program, Ms. Antoniou Theophanis.
