Dear patients and caregivers,
We are pleased to inform you of important developments regarding the home delivery of High Cost Medicines (HCM) by EOPYY.
As you know, from March 2024, the pilot phase of home delivery of medicines has started, with priority for Cystic Fibrosis patients throughout Greece, initially covering only out-of-refrigerator medicines.
After continuous communication and cooperation between our Association and EOPYY, we inform you that the Agency is now in the final phase of expanding the home delivery program. Specifically, in the coming weeks, the general implementation of the measure is expected for all drugs and for all insured persons of the EOPYY, including refrigerator drugs.
This means that Cystic Fibrosis patients, who until now have only received medicines outside the refrigerator, will soon be able to receive all their medicines at home, without any new action being required. The collection procedure remains the same as you are already familiar with.

As part of the expansion of the programme, distribution will be carried out by a new transport company specialised in the transport of pharmaceutical preparations, both outside and inside the refrigerated area, thus ensuring the correct and safe handling of all medicines.
In addition, in the next phase, the possibility of home distribution to underage patients has been provided for, through an application by parents/guardians using the parent’s personal Taxisnet codes.
