Science, Innovation, and Modern Care
Ask the Experts | From Knowledge to Dialogue
Among the pioneers who paved the way for a new era in cystic fibrosis!
On Saturday, November 21, 2026, on the occasion of European Cystic Fibrosis Day, the Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association is organizing the 2026 Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Conference at the Hellenic-American Union Amphitheater in Athens (12 Massalias Street, Kolonaki), with a simultaneous online broadcast.
This year’s conference holds special symbolic significance. This year, we honor the first generation of doctors who pioneered the establishment and development of specialized care for cystic fibrosis in Greece, while also turning our attention to scientific advances, innovative treatments, and the new challenges that are shaping the future of patients.
With the central theme “Science, Innovation, and Modern Care, ” the conference brings together scientists, healthcare professionals, representatives of institutional bodies, patients, and caregivers for a gathering of knowledge and meaningful dialogue.
This year, knowledge becomes dialogue!
How is life with cystic fibrosis changing in this new era of treatments?
What new challenges are emerging as patients live longer?
How can science, innovation, and the voice of patients shape the future of care?
With the new interactive approach “Ask the Experts | From Knowledge to Dialogue,” scientific presentations are combined with discussions among experts, questions from the audience, and personal experiences shared by patients and caregivers.
The goal is for scientific knowledge to serve as the starting point for an open, meaningful dialogue in which patients themselves and their families actively participate.
