Teva Humanizing Award 2023 for Hellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association

Hellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association was awarded with Teva Humanizing Health Award 2023 for the new action Helpline for Cystic Fibrosis “Unlimited Breath”, which will start next year.

The Helpine will be the first helpline in Greece, for the most common genetic diseaseof CF with over half a million carriers of the disease and about 850 patients in Greece. The Helpline for CF is the new project of the  psychosocial support program offered by the Association to the CF community during the last 2 years. A specialized psychologist will provide psychological support and information to patients with Cystic Fibrosis, caregivers, relatives, friends, carriers of the disease and to anyone who is affected by CF in Greece. The new Helpline will give the opportunity to the beneficiaries to face the psychological burden and improve their management of the disease. The Helpline for CF will be provided for the first time in Greece to the Cystic Fibrosis community of our country.
