Webinar: “Cystic Fibrosis & Nutrition: Modern Approaches and Personalized Care”

How varied can the nutritional needs of patients with cystic fibrosis be, and why is personalized nutritional care so important today?

A webinar dedicated to nutrition and the current challenges of cystic fibrosis will conclude the series of events organized by the Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association on the last day of September , markingmarking World Cystic Fibrosis Day, which is observed on September 8.

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 7:00 p.m ., the Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association, in scientific collaboration with the Panhellenic Association of Dietitians and Nutritionists, is organizing the online webinar “Cystic Fibrosis & Nutrition: Modern Approaches and Personalized Care, featuring specialized healthcare professionals.

The significant therapeutic advances of recent years are changing the landscape of cystic fibrosis and shaping an evolving profile of the disease. At the same time, within the community itself, there is a mix of different ages, treatment paths, and clinical conditions—and, accordingly, different nutritional needs.

How does life change with this disease? How is nutritional care evolving in the era of CFTR modulators? How can it be tailored to the specific needs of each person with cystic fibrosis? And what does “relearning how to eat” mean in practice?

Through presentations by specialized healthcare professionals, the webinar will combine the latest scientific developments with practical guidance on nutritional care, while also providing an opportunity for questions and discussion with the audience.

The webinar is open to the general public and is particularly aimed at patients with cystic fibrosis, their families and caregivers, dietitians and nutritionists, other healthcare professionals, and students of health and nutrition sciences who wish to learn about the latest developments and approaches in nutritional care for cystic fibrosis.
